TBI Concurs With Center Hill Death Investigation

After reopening the investigation into the death of a woman at Center Hill Lake, the TBI says it agrees with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department’s conclusion that the death of 21 year old Lauren Agee was accidental.
Agee was on an outing with friends at an event known as “Wakefest” at Pates Ford Marina in July 2015 and was camping near the edge of a steep cliff overlooking the lake. Authorities believe Agee fell from the cliff into the water, resulting in her death.
Agee’s mother told a Nashville TV station she believed her daughter had been murdered. But authorities say no new evidence has been turned up to support any indication of foul play.
