The Warren County Pioneers picked up their 20th win of the season Friday night as they held on to defeat Rhea County 65-64. Irving Espinoza led the Pioneers with 18 points. Isaiah Grayson had 16 and Tyree Ladet scored 12. The Pioneers are now 20-5 on the season and 4-2 in district play.
In the girls’ game, Rhea County exploded for 27 points in the second quarter and went on to defeat the Lady Pioneers 82-43.
Warren County will host Cookeville Tuesday night at Charlie Dalton Gym.
