Lebanon Officer's Body Found in DeKalb County

The body of a Lebanon police officer was found Thursday following a search after the victim never made it home from work.
The body of Joseph Bowen was located following an air and ground search Thursday afternoon after his pickup truck was found in Dry Creek off Highway 70 at Dowelltown
According to Sheriff Patrick Ray, Bowen, who was a DeKalb County resident, left work at the department early Thursday morning heading home in DeKalb County but he did not make it back home.
It appears the truck left highway 70 and went off an embankment into the creek.
