The Warren County Pioneers picked up their sixth consecutive district win Tuesday night with a 4-3 victory over the Cookeville Cavaliers. Jack Keele got the win for the Pioneers, pitching five innings, giving up six hits, striking out six and walking three batters. Brooks Helton came on in the sixth inning, walking one batter and striking out four to get the save. Ethan Smith led the Pioneers with three hits. Brandon Hennessee had two hits.
In softball action, the Lady Pioneers defeated Rhea County 9-7.
