The Warren County Pioneer baseball team defeated White County 10-3 Tuesday night to punch their ticket to the District championship game Wednesday night against the Cookeville Cavaliers. Cookeville defeated Rhea County to earn their spot in the title game. The championship game will begin at 6pm Wednesday night at Cookeville High School. The game will be broadcast live on 1230 WAKI.
In softball action, the Lady Pioneers lost to Cookeville Tuesday night 12-8 The Lady Pioneers will face Rhea County Wednesday at 5pm for the chance to play against Cookeville for the district championship. The softball tournament is being played at Sparta.
