The Warren County Lady Pioneer softball team came out of the losers bracket to defeat the Cookeville Lady Cavs twice to win the District 6AAA Championship. In the final game Thursday night, the Lady Pioneers routed the Lady Cavs 17-2 at Sparta.
The Lady Pioneers will host the second seeded team from District 5 in the opening round of the Region 3 Tournament Monday night at 8:10.
