A Sparta woman was behind bars Sunday night, accused of killing her husband.
Investigators with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the White County Sheriff’s Department said Patsy Hensley, 56, has been charged with first degree murder in 54-year-old Mark Hensley’s death.
TBI agents said the 13th District Attorney General requested they help in the investigation after her husband was found dead in his home on Plum Creek Road in Sparta. Authorities reviewed evidence and believe Patsy is responsible.
Mrs. Hensley was booked into the White County Jail and is being held on a $750,000 bond.
