Tennessee’s tax-free weekend is this weekend. It begins just after midnight at 12:01am and continues until just before midnight this Sunday.
You will not pay any state or local sales tax on purchases of school supplies and clothing of less than $100 and computers that are less than $1500.
The tax-free weekend was created a few years ago as a way to ease the financial burden for parents who must make purchases for back-to-school.
