The World’s Longest Yard Sale is underway. The sale takes place along Highway 127 and stretches from Gadsden, Alabama to Addison, Michigan. The sale goes through several counties in Tennessee, including Fentress and Cumberland.
The event started in Tennessee 30 years ago by Fentress County Executive Mike Walker, who thought it would be a great way to draw tourism to the rural communities. Now it’s expanded to six states and features thousands of vendors.
The sale runs through Sunday.
