If you want to run for McMinnville Alderman or for Morrison Mayor or Alderman, the deadline to turn in qualifying papers is Thursday.
Three alderman seats are up for grabs in November. Those are seats held by Steve Harvey, Ryle Chastain and Everett Brock. With Mayor Jimmy Haley taking over as County Executive in September, Vice-Mayor Ben Newman will become the Mayor and will serve out the remaining two years of Haley’s mayoral term.
Morrison voters will elect a Mayor and Two aldermen.
The election is November 6th.
