The full Warren County Commission Monday night passed the 2018-19 consolidated county budget along with several other budget-related resolutions.
Commissioners approved a measure making appropriations to non-profit charitable organizations, a resolution to authorize the Road Superintendent to provide $4,000 in gasoline to the Upper Cumberland Area Rural Transit System, and a resolution to fund certain fee offices in the county.
In other business, commissioners approved the reappointment of Dr. Harry Burke to the Airport Zoning Committee and the reappointment of Brent Foster to the Airport Board of Zoning Appeals.
Commissioner also approved the addition of West Airport Road to the County road list.
At the conclusion of Monday night’s meeting, the County Commission said goodbye to outgoing County Executive Hershel Wells and eleven commissioners who are leaving office.
