The Tennessee Highway Patrol has announced it will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in Warren County Friday night on State Route 56 and Highway 70S.
Troopers will be evaluating drivers for signs of alcohol or drug impairment. Troopers will target those who operate a vehicle while impaired and take corrective actions for other violations observed.
The THP says sobriety checkpoints are highly visible and effective tools in the battle against impaired driving.
