Centertown is working with the Upper Cumberland Development District to apply for a 2019 Community Development Block Grant through the state of Tennessee. As part of this application process, the community is required to complete a “target area survey” related to household information. Over the next two months, the UCDD will be completing these surveys of Centertown residents by phone. Callers will request a household income level estimate, but they will not ask for social security numbers or other financial information. All information will remain confidential and will be used only to determine the community’s eligibility for this grant.
