The McMinnville Board of Mayor and Aldermen Tuesday night voted to authorize the City to borrow up to $10 million from TML to fund renovations at the McMinnville Civic Center.
The board also approved a resolution to accept the low bid from Sain Construction Company for work on the renovations. The bid was $9,228,000.
In other business, the board passed on second reading an ordinance to change the speed limit on Highland Drive and a portion of George Huggins Drive from 30 to 20 Miles per hour.
The board rejected a measure that would have rezoned property at 418 Oak Hill Drive from R-1 to R-2.
