A suspect in a hit-and-run incident earlier this month has been caught after police received a tip from a citizen. Police say 23 year old Timothy Duston Saylors was picked up by officers at Walmart after someone recognized Saylors and called the police department.
Police believe Saylors was the driver of a vehicle that caused a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Sunset Drive and the bypass on October 4th. He then allegedly fled the scene on foot and remained at large until being caught at Walmart.
He faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident and fourth offense driving on revoked.
