Friday Crash

Two drivers escaped serious injury Friday morning when their vehicles collided on Old Smithville Road.
According to McMinnville Police, Lindsay Granados was driving a Ford Escape northbound on Old Smithville when she apparently became distracted and her vehicle crossed the center line. Her vehicle collided with an F150, driven by Richard Duff. Police say Duff swerved trying to avoid contact with the Escape, but the two vehicle made contact with the Escape coming to rest on its side. Granados was trapped in the vehicle until emergency personnel were able to free her. Granados was complaining of back pain and was taken to River Park Hospital. Duff suffered minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
