Former Vol to Speak at Boyd Banquet

Officials at Boyd Christian School have announced that former Tennessee Vol football standout Inky Johnson will be the keynote speaker at Boyd Christian School’s annual Spring Banquet on Thursday, March 8th.
Johnson was a starting defensive back for the Vols until his football career was cut short when he was injured in a game against Air Force. The injury caused him to lose the use of his right arm.
Johnson has used the injury as motivation to be successful and travels the country as a motivational speaker. He has also written a book.
The banquet will be held at the Boyd School Gymnasium. A meet and greet will begin at 6pm, with the dinner at 7pm. An auction is set for 8:15. Tickets are $100 for a seat or $1000 for a table of 10.
