The McMinnville Board of Mayor and Aldermen Tuesday night approved a resolution to appoint the accounting firm of Denning and Cantrell to perform the annual audit for the City. The City will pay the firm $22,500 for the audit for the 2017-18 fiscal year, and $23,000 for each of the next two fiscal years.
In other business, the board approved an ordinance to amend the permit fees of the Community Development Department.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Mayor Jimmy Haley delivered his State of the City address, in which he talked about new economic progress of the past year and his hope for more growth in 2018.
