The Warren County Lady Pioneers advanced to the District Tournament semifinals and earned a berth in the Region Tournament with a 52-42 win over Cookeville Friday night in opening round action at Rhea County. The Lady Pioneers were led in scoring by Tyra Wright with 17 points. Megan Patch added 16.
Saturday’s tournament action has the Pioneers taking on Stone Memorial at 3:30 cst, and the Lady Pioneers against Stone Memorial at 5pm cst.
Both games will be broadcast live on 1230 WAKI.
