The McMinnville Board of Mayor and Aldermen Tuesday night voted to cancel two water tank maintenance contracts with Utility Service Company. The City felt the company didn’t fulfill its obligations agreed upon in the contracts.
In other business, the board voted to accept a bid from Freeland Automotive for two new half-ton pickups in the total amount of $38,134 for the Water and Sewer Department.
The board approved the use of the court square grassy lot to showcase the Evening Exchange Club’s Field of Flags display in April. And the board approved a request to hold a 5K color run on May 12th.
