The Warren County Pioneers defeated White County 3-1 Tuesday night in baseball action at Warren County High School. Jack Keele went the distance to get the win, giving up 3 hits, striking out 5, walking one intentionally, and hitting one batter. Ethan Smith had two hits for the Pioneers. The Pioneers will take part in the Rebel Classic this weekend, then will return to district play next week against Cookeville.
In softball action, the Lady Pioneers gave up the first 5 runs of the game before storming back to defeat White County 13-6. The Lady Pioneers will visit Stone Memorial Thursday night at 5pm.
