Democratic winners in the race for County Commission District 1 were former longtime Commissioner Sally Brock and newcomer Christie Ross. Ross received 166 votes and Brock received 162. Incumbent Commissioner David Rhea came in third with 126.
In District 7, Tommy Savage received 214 votes and Gary Martin received 192 to advance to the general election. Susan Rogers came in third with 92 votes.
In District 10, Cole Taylor received 280 votes and Gary Prater received 235. Harold Hyatt came in third with 120 votes.
In District 11, Steve Glenn received 252 votes and Mary Roller received 197. Morris Bond received 165.
Republicans on the primary ballot faced no opposition and will face off against the Democratic and Independent candidates in the August general election.
