The seventh annual Back to the Strip celebration will be held Saturday to raise money for Meals on Wheels.
Activities will begin Saturday morning at 7am with the 5K run in downtown McMinnville. The Car Show will begin at 9am and live entertainment will begin at 11am. The movie “Cars” will be shown in the Park Theater free of charge at 2pm.
After 3pm, activities move to the strip, where the car show winners will be displayed at the Foodland Plus parking lot.
A trailer will be available to people to donate nonperishable food items for Meals on Wheels. The Back to the Strip event has raised more than $150,000 for Meals since it first began.
McMinnville Police are reminding everyone to follow the rules of the road to keep everyone safe during the event.
