The Warren County Pioneer baseball team defeated White County 6-5 in a nail-biter Monday night at WCHS. Game 2 of the best-of-three series will be played Tuesday night at 6pm at Sparta. The winner of the series will play for the district championship Thursday night.
In softball action, the Lady Pioneers will face Cookeville Tuesday night in the District softball tournament at Sparta. Game time is 7pm.
