Organizers are gearing up for the annual Relay For Life event, which will be held Saturday evening. This year the event has been moved to downtown McMinnville from its former location at Nunley Stadium. It will go from 5pm to 10pm.
Relay for Life raises money for the American Cancer Society for cancer research and treatment.
The event will feature food booths and games beginning at 5pm. There will also be live entertainment by the Dark Hollow Band on the grassy lot at Court Square.
The Survivor’s Lap will be a walk down Main Street, beginning at the First United Methodist Church at 7pm.
The Luminaria ceremony will begin at 9pm.
