The McMinnville Board of Mayor and Aldermen Tuesday night approved four resolutions and four ordinances at its regular meeting at City Hall.
The board approved a measure to authorize the continuance of expenditures for the necessary governmental functions until a new budget is passed. The board also accepted a bid from Freeland Automotive for two trucks for the Public Works Department. The bid amount was $62,138.
Other resolutions included measures to accept a bid from Gene A. Fults and Son for two one ton truck beds with dump cylinders in the amount of $10,800 for the Public Works Department; and a measure to sign a lease agreement with TDOT for use of an area adjacent to the Barren Fork River under Highway 56.
Ordinances included a measure that shows an increase in the hotel motel tax levy up to 5 percent and a measure to appropriate funds to certain non-profit organizations.
