The City of McMinnville is no longer under contract to underwrite the Bluegrass Underground concert series. The City helped underwrite the series for the years it was located at Cumberland Caverns. However, the concert series moved to a new location in Pelham in March of this year. The announcement of the move came as a surprise to city officials. The City still had one year remaining on their contract with Bluegrass Underground.
Tuesday night, Mayor Haley read a letter from Bluegrass Underground officials indicating the City would no longer be bound by the contract.
