Fears of a possible Listeria contamination has prompted the voluntary recall of several brands of grab-and-go sandwiches.
This recall is for “Premo Brand” and “Fresh Grab” turkey and swiss sub sandwiches.
The sandwiches were produced on July 17, 2018 and distributed to food service and retail stores throughout Tennessee, and 10 other states: Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
If you’ve purchased one of these, don’t eat it! The FDA says throw it away or return them to the place of purchase.
Listeria monocytogenes is an organism, which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
