McMinnville Board

An effort to go ahead and hire Bill Brock as full-time City Administrator failed Tuesday night during the meeting of the McMinnville Board of Mayor and Aldermen. Alderman Mike Neal complimented the job Brock has done in his four years as interim City Administrator. He questioned the need to advertise for applicants for the full-time job. But other board members, while also being complimentary of the job Brock has done, were in favor of posting the job and said they hoped Brock would apply. The vote on the proposal was 3 for and 4 against, with the deciding vote cast by Mayor Haley.
