The full Warren County Commission Monday night held its first monthly session of the newly elected commission and county executive. Most of the marathon meeting focused on the topic of the overcrowded Warren County Jail and what needs to be done to correct the situation. Commissioners heard a presentation from representatives of the Tennessee Corrections Institute and the County Technical Assistance Service.
Also during the meeting, commissioners elected four new members to the Financial Management Committee. They are Scott Rubley, Tommy Savage, Richard Grissom and Gary Martin.
Ron Lee was appointed to serve on the E911 Board.
