McMinnville City officials are alerting local residents to a scam attempt being perpetrated in recent days. Officials say someone has been calling residents identifying themselves as employees of the McMinnville Fire Department. The callers are asking for donations to help purchase new equipment.
Officials want you to know these callers are NOT from the McMinnville Fire Department. It is an attempt to take your money.
