Director of Schools Bobby Cox announced Tuesday that Warren Co. schools, along with the Warren Co. Health Department, will be offering the flu vaccine at all schools October 26 thru November 2.
Cox, in a press release, said the best way to protect children from the flu is to get them vaccinated each year. If you would like to have your child receive the vaccine, you must return the permission form that was sent home with the student. All permission forms must be returned on October 15 or 16th to your student’s school.
The school system is partnering with the National Association of School Nursing as part of the Keep Flu Out Of School Campaign.
